Cookie policy
MeetMyTutor stores only what it needs to work. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

In short
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not load analytics or advertising scripts. Everything below is needed to run the site and the apps or to remember a choice you made.
The browser keeps this in cookies or in local storage, which works the same way for our purposes. You can clear it in your browser settings. If you clear the sign-in entry you are signed out.
The website (meetmytutor.com)
- Light or dark display: remembers the theme you choose. Kept until you clear it.
- Intro animation: remembers that the short opening animation has played, so it runs once. Kept until you clear it.
The office, parent and tutor apps
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in after you close the tab. Removed when you sign out, and the server ends it after 12 hours.
- Remembered device: if you choose to remember a device for the authenticator app, a token is kept for up to 90 days so you are not asked for a code every time.
- Language and theme: remember the language and display mode you chose.
- Screen state: small settings such as the open tab, a snoozed reminder or the office sidebar. The office sidebar uses a cookie called sidebar_state that lasts 7 days.
Outside services
Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. It receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads, and we do not set cookies for it.
If you pay by card, the payment page belongs to Stripe, which sets its own cookies. See Stripe's cookie policy. Meeting links for lessons open on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, which have their own policies.
Your choices
Because only essential items are used, we do not ask for consent. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser, but the apps will then not keep you signed in.
If this ever changes, for example if we add analytics, we will update this page and ask first where the law requires it.
Questions: contact form. See also the Privacy policy.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: because the website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, there is nothing for these signals to switch off. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request anyway.
